How To Discover What You’re Good At

.

I’m sure there have been many things written about finding your gifts but I’m going to approach this from a different perspective. One that I hope you walk away from really thinking about how you can put this into action.

Do you know what you’re good at?

Do you know what you are passionate about?

Do you realize you’re able to turn your passion into wealth?

When you realize what you’re good at and enjoy it you’re able to enjoy a whole new way of wealth!

Bah humbug you say?

Ahhh, if you’re anything like me when I first heard those questions a few things may have popped up in your head.

“But Tony I have to make a living and pay my bills and I can’t just walk away from what I’m doing to do something that I may actually enjoy. How will I make any money?”

Or how about this one:

“I’m not really good at anything honestly and even if I was how do I figure out what am passionate about?”

Well never the less I feel your pain if you fall into either category.

Personally I believe either excuse is crap now. (Guess that was a bit blunt eh? lol)

Let  me quote something that I found from one of my twitter friends. Prepare to be taken to a new level of awareness because I was when I read this tweet from Lorrin Lee:

“Your life is your message…make it inspirational…It’s more than SAY, or DO…or HAVE. How you live your life is your message.” Lorrin Lee

How you live your life is your message. That is strong isn’t it??

This is one way to find out what your good at.

What message do you want your life to reflect and then take note of what gifts you actually have that will help you share that message!

Fighting Your Cells

Just for a moment I’d like you to ask yourself, do you truly enjoy what you’re doing right now? Have you found your purpose? (Hint, if you’re reading this at work right now that may be a small clue you haven’t)

However if you are doing what you love and are passionate about it what lead you there? (Share with me please)

If it’s anything like me something inside of you pulled you, pushed you and ate at you until you fed it right?

That’s what happened to me. However it took a friendly universal nudge to point me in the direction. I had to be open to inspiration and take action on it.

You see a good friend of mine encouraged me to start blogging a few years ago because he saw something in me that I had been neglecting. Imagine if I didn’t take action? I sucked at it at first but I was excited to be able to express myself other than through music. (I’ve played guitar for 24 years and now piano as well and I sing reeeeally good in the shower lol)

This is an example of the universe showing up in my life to meet my cellular needs. I had been fighting those needs with something other than what was nourishing my soul.

Reaching out to people and offering my help in finding their awareness has been a journey for me and one that I’m passionate about. I’m learning just as much along the way myself about my own wealth building through awareness.

It’s only when I finally decided to stop fighting my cells as Deepak Chopra states, that I found myself flowing through life more than fighting my way through life.

Discovering Your Passions Is A Process

.

Yes discovering your passion is a process and it’s not an all at once thing. However if you calm yourself spend a little time every day focusing on what you love or would love to do you can find it through your awareness.

Discovering your passion will take some work and may take time to evolve but actually taking action towards it in itself is a message about how you live your life.

If you never take action what message is that telling people about your life?

This is one reason why I admired entrepreneurs and home business owners so much in the beginning of my journey and still do. They take action in some form and that alone is saying something about them. I used to think that was just their character however I realized it was much bigger than that.

“Success is always temporary. When all is said and done, the only thing you will have left is your character.” -Vince Gill Musician

So if all you will have left is your character, then your life is a reflection of your character and how you used it. Is your character today about taking action & living authentically?

If you’re anything like me that’s exactly what you want your life to be about. Knowing you did everything you could today and leaving nothing on the table.

Wealth Building Through Awareness

Identifying your values, beliefs and skills are a good places to start. But before all of that what do you really enjoy doing. I mean actually have fun at?

I have a blast writing for this blog and sharing these insights with you. I have a blast writing what I’m passionate about. It comes easy because I’m just sharing my thoughts, beliefs and results from my actions!

But I had to get started and so do you.

Be inspired to take action right now and identify what you love doing. Believe me there is a way to leverage an income from it somehow. If you create enough value from doing what you love someone will pay you for it.

And no your situation isn’t different.

You don’t have to be a writer, blogger, sales person or guru.

You just have to be someone who believes that you are much more valuable than you may have given yourself credit for.

Consider this your nudge like I received about 2 1/2 years ago.

Start the journey and start having fun.
