Well, this morning I went through my email and I had a bunch of new people who requested the “The Expert Guide to Pursuing Wealth.” I probably have to thank Lyman Reed. He did a great review of my Pursuit of Wealth report. Shortly after I noticed a big spike in peoples request. (Many thanks Lyman!)

I also got a huge spike in email which leads me into today’s post.

Well an over whelming amount of people told me that they have a fear of failure.

I also got a very cool email from the Publicist and Executive Assistant to Dr. Joe Vitale.

Now all of these emails are linked and I don’t believe it’s by accident.

Let Me Explain The “Miracle”

.

Well a little over 2 years ago a good friend of mine had encouraged me to start blogging. I thought he was nuts. I had some success up to that point in my home based business and in sales for years before that. But I wasn’t sure I had enough to write about and especially didn’t believe that anyone would be interested even if I did.

.

Let’s just say the fear of failing or looking foolish was in high gear. However I figured there was no benefit in reasons why I couldn’t do it and started looking for reasons that I could. I did love to write, but never really typed like I write.

.

Well off started my journey of blogging, and let me tell you if webster’s dictionary ever got a hold of my first few months of blogging I’d be put in dictionary jail. (I look back at those early months of blogging and seriously have considered deleting them)

.

Needless to say I kept them but I also noticed that over time I was getting better. More importantly I realized I had stuff to share and the crazy thing? People found value in it.

.

The Ugly Email Day

.

Then It happened. The day any blogger or writer probably dreads. The day that someone full out attacks you, your philosophies and your writing.

.

I was pretty surprised by the persons email. You can read the original post and his original nasty email from my past blog at this location.

.

Most people based on his email would have packed up shop and left town with their tails between their legs. But let’s just say at this point I was a much different person. Personal development rocks.

.

Well I handled it, over come the fear and to this day enjoy blogging and writing. But now the really COOL stuff happens.

.

I Wrote Joe Vitale an Email

.

Now If you’re not familiar with who Joe Vitale is you should be. He’s one of my favorite writers and entrepreneurs. Most people know him from the hit movie The Secret.

.

I received an email in my inbox one day about a contest he was having. Write a 500 word essay about how you have applied Joe’s work to your life and a story of how you did it.

.

I said what the heck and I wrote it, sent it off and have thought nothing more of it.

.

Needless to say I got the email back and my story will be featured in his newest book “Expect Miracles.”
