A Transparent Post

.

I actually wrote this post back on September of 2007 but I found the message particularly profound for me still and I thought you may gain some value from it.

I’ve blogged substantially on what it means to work from home with a network marketing business so you’ll see that I geared this message towards someone working from home because well, that’s what i do. :-)

However as you’ve noticed I always have a spiritual theme running through my writing and this post isn’t any different. It particularly reached out to me to share with you today.

Regardless if you’re working from home or not the message is still sincere and universal in it’s spiritual message.

Also be sure to click on the link at the very bottom in the P.S. She is amazing and will touch your heart in just the way I mention.

A Moment Of Awareness

.

Picture this…

…I was sitting in my car yesterday in a church parking lot that I hadn’t planned on stopping in, my face in my hands, sobbing and praying to allow god into my heart to help me through my personal matter I was experiencing.

Knowing my heart is feeling the most excruciating pain its felt in years I reached out to him more than ever.

At that time I knew he was and always has been there to ease my pain and help me carry burdens when I couldn’t. Those burdens that were too heavy for me to bare, he has lifted but only when I turned it completely over to him.

At that moment sitting in my car, tears streaming down my face I said, “Lord I don’t know what you have in store for me right now but I know its out of my hands at this point and I have to just trust you know what you’re doing.

I realized then just how powerful gods love is. I can’t tell you exactly what happened, but I felt so loved & connected.

Going To The Edge Of Failure

.

I’ll never follow a man or woman who hasn’t gone near apostate because that
is a person who hasn’t challenged their faith.
” -Artemis Limpert, quote from Educating Your Educations

Think about that.

I have been physically and emotionally where you may be in your life. Maybe you haven’t been able to unlock your mental chains…yet. But because I’ve gone nearly apostate in my business many times I can relate to you and walk you through it.

I was at that point yesterday in my personal life however I had faith in something bigger than me that things were happening exactly as they should be.

Why the transparency?

Because every one of us have been at this spot at one point in our life.

I don’t know if you’ve shed a tear over your business or wanted to but I know I have before.

However faith is always a key ingrediant in knowing you’ll accomplish your dreams. Faith is why I reached out yesterday. That was a very important step for me. Not only in my personal life but in my business.

Have faith that something bigger than you is always at work In your business or your personal life. It brings a sense of comfort and allows you to pass through times of frustration & fear.

A plan doesn’t hurt either of course.

Consider this.

Frustration can be caused by wanting mastery or control over someone and not getting it. You can’t control someone but you can control your communication skills that allows you to engage, connect on a deep level with them and enjoy a better relationship over all. No matter how much you love someone and want whats best for them, it doesn’t work when you try to control the outcome.

Master Your Communiction

.
Same goes for working with your team in your business.

You can’t control them or have mastery over them, you can only work on mastering your communication skills (this means listening twice as much as talking) so that you can engage, connect deeply and support them in their desires.

As Steven Covey says, “You need to develop a complimentary team. Everyone contributes & use moral authority instead of formal authority for your influence method. The team will be accountable to one another and those who don’t fit will excuse themselves.

You have to let them make mistakes and encourage/support them while they pick themselves up and do the right thing to get themselves back in the game. Support them and at the same time encourage individual development.

If they don’t want the support?

Move on. Let them excuse themselves. That’s like trying to date someone who doesnt’ want to be dated.

It’s crazy!

Here is my point of opening my post with such transparency.

Much like in matters of your personal life, if you lost a love you wouldn’t say you’re not going to love again or you wouldn’t ever date again would you? That’s like saying you’re never going to eat again because you got food poisoning.

Think about it, at any point you decide you want to quit your business, just remember, you’re near apostate and you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

It’s in these personal times and your business times that you have to know you’re involved in something much bigger than you and you’re going to want the help of someone much bigger than you as well.

Giving back once you’ve had these experiences creates huge dividends which create an amazing lifestyle and unbreakable friendships.

You don’t value me for what I have, such as a large income, nice cars or big home, you value me because of where I’ve been and the fact I’ve walked where you’re walking and kept going.” -Artemis Limpert

Have faith. It’s all working out exactly as it should right now.

Let go, you’ll have more fun that way. ;-)

P.S. If you question the power of faith and miracles watch this video and know just how amazing you are. 10 year old Akiane, child prodigy will touch your heart no matter what your faith or religion.
