Imagination Creates Wealth When Directed

I love Albert Einstein’s many quotes of simplicity. The power of all of us will always be greater than the power of one of us.
.
Bottom line is he dumbs down complex idea’s. He also said one time that if you can’t say something simple you probably don’t understand it. Anyway I digress from what I wanted to blog on today.
.
I heard this said in an even simpler version:
“Your knowledge can replay your past but your imagination can preplay your future.”
.
Hmm come to think of it, that was pretty darn simple. Einstein would be proud.
.
The challenge you may run into is this. Your definition of imagination may be skewed. I will never forget the story of Roy Disney at the opening day of Disney World in Orlando. (I’m a HUGE Disney buff fyi)
.
A Lesson In Imagination From Walt Disney
.
A reporter came up to Roy Disney at the opening day of Disney World and said to Roy:
.
“How do you feel since Walt passed away before he was able to see the finished Disney world, pretty disappointing I bet?”
.
Roy looked at hims square in the eye and said:
.
“Obviously you didn’t know Walt, he saw the finished Disney world before the first stone was ever laid.”
.

Imagination does beget releasing a lot of beliefs and preconceived notions. As I study a lot of online marketing guru’s Frank Kern said it best, and I believe he stole it from John Carlton, “if you can just suspend disbelief…”

The Power of Suspending Disbelief
.
Have you ever believed that knowledge is power? That a good education is the key to wealth? I don’t know about you but I challenged because in my opinion there is so much more to wealth building than just knowing something. It takes an inner game to create wealth in any endeavor. Knowledge of a subject is only part of the game.
.
I have challenged myself not to get wrapped up in the world of knowledge. It limits my creativity. A great resource is Don Miguel Ruiz’s book called The Voice Of Knowledge. It could give you a totally different perspective and open your mind to more creative thinking.
.
Don’t get me wrong, knowledge is powerful but it’s in my opinion, a tool. A tool is only any good if you use it. I have been quite proficient in the past of storing a lot of Tools in my tool shed but only admiring them on the wall. Can’t say I really built anything with them lol. Maybe you can relate?
.
Imagination is gaining altitude over a situation and seeing what is possible. Realize your resourcefulness is your biggest asset because with out it you’re just like everyone else. Feeling stuck in the water with out a paddle.
.
I’ve said before to create wealth, sell a solution to a real problem. People will pay for it. Become a problem solver, make sure it’s something you’re passionate about, imagine what is possible & have fun.

What I Learned From A Marketing Guru
.
Something that is key on your way to creating wealth practice compassion. As Eban Pagan says, compassion is proactive empathy. It allows you to stand in your prospects shoes for a moment and relate to their emotions and how they are feeling however not become trapped by their problem.
.
Use your imagination and resourcefulness to come up with a solution. Along the way you will gain knowledge that will aid you in implementing that solution. But if you wait to gain the knowledge you severely limit your ability to solve the problem.

Imagination Leads to Resourcefulness
.
So how do you use your resourcefulness you ask? There are resources all around you.
.
Example:
.
Walt Disney and Henry Ford always had a team of people around them. Just like now that I’ve been studying internet marketing I surround myself with a mastermind group. Just like I do in my network marketing business. Two minds lead to a third more powerful mind, always.
.
I plan out what I want to do (using my imagination and the teams input), I put that plan into action and I then take my results as they come in and go over them with the team.
.
Plan, do & review, then rinse and repeat until desired results are complete.
.
Imagination isn’t mystical mental power that some people have and some people don’t. It’s the shared vision of a team that generally gives your idea legs.
.
Imagination is simply an idea that is sparked with inspiration.
.
Now imagine what you want to be possible. The world is your slate & the chalk is in your hand.
