Contributing To Your Wealth

.

The word contribution has been popping up in a lot of my reading & audio’s that I’ve been listening to lately.

I’m sure it’s not by accident either.

Have you ever given specific thought to what it means to contribute?

A bigger & much deeper question is have you given consideration to what your contribution to the world is?

More importantly have you thought about what it “feels like” after you have contributed something of value
to someone?

If you haven’t and you’re still a little fuzzy about what I’m talking about go over to www.billphillips.com
and watch the 5 videos on Bill’s home page and tell me you aren’t at least inspired to contribute. (Or even
change your lifestyle)

If you don’t believe Bill is contributing value to peoples lives and inspiring them to a new way of wealth then
you missed the train.

After you watch the videos I’d like you to put yourself in Bill’s shoes for a second and imagine the amazing
feelings of gratitude and contribution he must feel every time he meets one of these people.

Is it really good “marketing” on his part? Obviously it is.

But capturing on film the amazing spirit and emotion of each one of these peoples struggles, challenges
and how they over came them is nothing short of amazing.

I admit I teared up with emotion more than once because the stories touched my heart how Bill helped inspire each one of these individuals to find their greatness and pursue it with fervent passion.

The Power of Contribution

.

One of the 6 emotional primary drivers of all people is contribution. It’s one of the needs of the spirit.
To feel fulfillment you and I must feel that we have contributed to something bigger than ourselves.
With out it you and I are literally self serving ourselves with emptiness.

I believe because so many people miss this key ingredient in life that it’s one of the main reasons for drug use, alcoholism and an obese population.

It’s only my opinion but I believe because people neglect their spirit and only focus on the physical, that they attempt to fill that emptiness with “something.”

Health, wealth & spirit

.

With out any one of the three I have a hard time believing I’m reaching for my true potentional with my
full resources at hand.

When I started this blog I had on my mind to focus on financial and opportunity. Since I’ve been writing for a few months now, more and more I find that the direction is faced more on the 3 area’s of true wealth being health wealth and spirit.

You have probably noticed that my own personal journey of self awareness is bascially documented through out these pages and I simply share with you my own personal experiences and tools that help me.

That is why I stress your journey may be different. Your experiences may be different but if you gain value
and clarity from what I share then I feel I have, yes, contributed something. :-)

Contribution is what I feel when I share these experiences and it touches someone so much that they email me and share with me how it’s impacted their lives.

A Different Way of Viewing Value

.

I love what Steve Pavlina says about how you can measure value. Before hand I thought I could only
measure value in dollars.

You can also measure value based on other peoples results. Those results don’t have to be just money.

Read that again because it’s that powerful.

When someone emails me about how a certain post not only touched them but also share with me a
specific “result” they obtained from the information….That my friends is a powerful contribution.

If you look back at Bill Phillips video’s that I recommend you view immediately, you’ll see the people
he has inspired and impacted have clearly defined results, physically and spiritually.

I’m myself inspired to a whole new level of wealth today because not only am I expecting more of a contribution from my self but from you.

That’s right.

I love my emails from you and comment posts. Now I’m looking to take it to a whole new level and hear how you’ve had clear measurable results from what you learn.

I realize this may be asking a lot of you however I’m also asking a lot of myself.

I know my content must be “that good” that I am able to make an impact on your awareness so your journey to a new way of wealth is that much more fun. :-)

Furthering Your Contribution

.

Your mission if you choose to except it is:

Find your special gifts and talents that you were given at birth.
Find a way to make an impact on someone every day with those gifts.
Work on yourself & your gifts every day for at least 15 minutes i.e. through reading or listening to audios.
(It’s because of my personal development studies I found myself even writing this today)

All in all, find a way to contribute & give back to others.

Tithing is one way I know Christians find solice in contribution and that is a great place to start if you’re
not clear on what your “gifts” are. Tithing “is” important to your financial wealth and it’s a part of your
contribution but there is more to give as well.

Contribution is about the needs of the spirit and in my humble opinion. It cannot be igored.

Personally I know I have ignored it far too long and commit to “step up my game.

Don’t forget to go to www.billphillips.com and watch the 5 stories and let me know if you don’t feel at least
inspired to contribute to someones life.

No matter how big or how small you contribute in the beginning, it’s the act that matters in the beginning to me.

Starting is better than not doing.

If you’re not nurtuing your spirit through contribution then you’re
seriously missing some amazing stuff.

P.S. as of writing this post this morning I received a tweet from Steve Pavlina (Weird how he knows what I’m writing and when I’m writing it. His tweet said,

Instead of trying to get ahead financially, aim to get ahead in your service and contribution. If your finances suck, your service sucks.
